Mitchell L. Goldflies, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Mitchell Goldflies is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon based in Chicago, Illinois with over 45 years of experience. He is a member of the Department of Surgery at Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago and serves as Medical Director of Rehabilitation Services at two Chicago hospitals. He is on the teaching faculty of four medical schools and two podiatric residency training programs, and continues to practise orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine full-time.

Dr. Goldflies was born, trained and now practises in Chicago. His medical training included Chicago Medical School, Cook County Hospital and Rush Medical Center, and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. An early interest in rehabilitation, sports medicine and the non-surgical treatment of endurance athletes shaped his practice: he now applies the same rehabilitation techniques to the general population with musculoskeletal problems.

He has extensive experience in injection therapy — including ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided injections — for inflammatory, traumatic and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions and trauma.
